Safety

• Only use dry, suitable firewood (available at the supermarket in Savognin or from the key holder).
• Fire blankets are located in the entrance area; there is a bucket on the balcony that can be filled with water in an emergency.
• Always keep the glass door closed during firing; do not touch the glass pane.
• Only move burning logs with the poker (on the balcony).

Use

• Adjust the flame intensity using the slider on the glass door.
• Only add a few logs so that the fire does not become too large.
• Ventilate regularly, especially during prolonged operation.

Preparation

• Open the chimney flap (a) on the left.
• Open the fresh air flap (b) at the bottom right.
• Open the room air supply using the slider on the glass door.

Lighting

• Place a small amount of wood on the floor grate so that air can circulate freely.
• Place kindling or firelighters in between.
• Light with a match/lighter and wait until the fire is burning steadily.
• Only then add larger logs.
• Close the glass door..

After use & cleaning

• Close both ventilation flaps (a & b) again so that no warm air escapes.
• Please clean the fireplace after use – only when the fire is completely out and the ashes are cold.
• Sweep the ashes through the floor grate, lift the grate and remove the ash container.
• Asche im Hausmüll entsorgen – vorher prüfen, dass keine warmen Glutreste mehr vorhanden sind.
