Skiing and snowboarding<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Savognin winter sports area<\/strong> offers around 75 kilometres of slopes of all levels of difficulty between 1,200 and 2,700 metres above sea level, which can be reached by two gondola lifts and ten ski lifts. There is also a ski school<\/strong> and a snow park <\/strong>(in Tigignas) for acrobatic skiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the La Nars children's ski paradise<\/strong> or on the Flurin children's slope<\/strong> (near Monas), children can playfully try their first attempts on skis on the 170-metre-long magic carpet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can find the wide range of offers from the Swiss Ski School Savognin at www.skischule-savognin.ch<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you as parents want to enjoy the winter sports day without the little ones, childcare<\/strong> is available at the Pinocchio Club<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Savogniner Bergbahnen<\/strong> are generally open for winter sports from the beginning of December until Easter, from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note that operating hours may vary depending on snow and winter conditions. At www.valsurses.ch\/de\/bergbahnen\/savognin-bergbahnen-winter<\/a> , you can find up-to-date information on operating hours, fares, current events and offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another winter sports area is located in Bivio<\/strong>, around 18 km away, with around 30 km of slopes between 1,770 and 2,550 metres above sea level, which you can reach with 3 lifts. The area is also particularly interesting for ski tourers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bivio also has a children's ski school with a magic carpet and the Biviolino Kids Club <\/strong>with a wide range of combinable offers. Good to know: <\/strong>you can also take your skis with you on the post bus from our holiday apartment. There is also a local sports bus within Savognin, which is free with a guest card.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Cross-country skiing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The approximately 12 km long cross-country ski trail in the plain between Rona and Mulegns<\/strong> is particularly popular with cross-country skiing enthusiasts. The Rona cross-country skiing centre<\/strong> (near the campsite) is also located here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also trails in Savognin and Bivio<\/strong> , meaning that Val Surses offers a total of around 40 km of trails at various altitudes between 1,200 and 1,800 metres above sea level, some of which are covered with artificial snow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sledging<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In Savognin, there are three toboggan runs between 3 and 10.5 km long, which you can reach on foot, by gondola lift or by ski lift. Please note the separate tariffs of the Savognin mountain railways for pedestrians and tobogganers.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a toboggan run in Bivio<\/strong>, which can also be reached by ski lift, and another toboggan run from Alp Flix to Sur<\/strong> (ascent only on foot or with snowshoes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are willing to make the slightly longer journey to the neighbouring Albula Valley<\/strong> , you may enjoy combining a Trip on the Rhaetian Railway<\/strong> over the world-famous viaducts and spiral tunnels to Berg\u00fcn or Preda<\/strong> with a toboggan run on the pass road, which is closed to cars in winter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Snowshoe hiking<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In Val Surses, you will find around 60 km of marked snowshoe trails<\/strong>, which allow you to explore secluded areas of the valley away from the slopes, either on your own or on guided tours<\/strong> . The marked trails range from 3.5 to 13.5 km in length at various altitudes, from easy to challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To take part in guided tours, take a look at the brochures available or contact the tourist office in Savognin or the information centre in Bivio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ice skating<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In La Nars in Savognin<\/strong> , you will find an artificial ice rink that is open daily between 10:00 and 20:00 from mid-November to early March, and even until 22:00 during the high season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ride on a snow groomer<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Those who have had enough of active winter sports or are looking for a very special experience may enjoy an hour-long ride on a snow groomer (in Bivio).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
